Kevin Korn is the Founder and Chief Brand Officer of MAWKO, where he builds the collaborative relationships that fuel our brand development + strategy work.



He also serves in three other roles that support MAWKO’s purpose.

As the Executive Director of the Sustainable Sport Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit youth sports advisory that empowers youth athletes with skills for life + play + the future.

As the founder of Ocean Plastic Series, a brand collaborative focused on keeping our oceans clean + plastic-free.

Both initiatives were created and are supported by MAWKO, aligning with our purpose to build sustainable brands.

As a Strategic Advisor for SandSI (Sport and Sustainability International) focused on the Sustainable Sport Lab’s mission to incubate, activate, and empower solutions for the UN’s 17 Global Goals, specifically across the global sport sector.



Prior to forming his studio in 2009, Kevin spent a decade building brand identities, commercial growth, and strategic marketing for Abercrombie & Fitch, J.Crew, and Ralph Lauren.

He has traveled to over 25 countries during his career which has shaped the local + global perspective he brings to the brand + strategy work we build at MAWKO.

Kevin’s formal education includes dual undergraduate degrees in Communications & Design; postgraduate studies in Brand & Business Strategy, Disruptive Strategy, Sustainable Business Management & Strategy, Organizational Leadership, Global Football Marketing and Management; and an international masters in Sport Marketing & Sponsorship. 



His professional profile has been featured by Native Society, Hip Daddy, ZEISS International, and Ralph Lauren.

Kevin coaches + mentors student-athletes who aspire to build a career in brand marketing + sport and is active with non-profits, speaking engagements, and collaborative research that focuses on creating solutions for social + environmental challenges across global sport.
